My name is Delaney Mountford and I’m a graphic designer, website designer, copywriter & SEO specialist, currently based out of Chicago, IL
For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to graphic design and company branding. By the time I had received my masters degree from the University of Notre Dame, I had also taken a strong interest in web SEO and copywriting, giving me a more holistic view on web design in general.. I had worked as a freelance web designer in grad school and college, and when Covid hiring freezes hit, I decided to take a chance and start my own company, Hangover Hoodies.
I immersed myself in the worlds of branding and design and using those skillsets to build a business. I became an expert in finding both creative and analytical ways to connect with customer bases.
As my company became fully outsourced, I had several companies reaching out to me for web consulting work. After leading dozens of freelance web design projects, I decided to take the next steps and blend my knowledge of business with my love of design… and thus, Wells Creative Co. was born.
Within the first year of launching Hangover Hoodies, the company had generated over $1.1 million dollars in sales, sold to all 50 states and 32 countries, and we had reached over 1 million site visitors.
Throughout this time, I was also consulting with other brands who reached out to me about marketing, web design, and connecting with customer bases. Recently, I also started doing freelance work again, and have realized how much I appreciated working across a variety of industries rather than just one.
